Throne of Glass Abraxos Licensed Products
An illustrator, photographer, lover of stories (and dragons), in 2021, I created my own fantasy fan-art brand, InFarOffLands. I grew an audience of 27k in two months on two social media platforms (with an average TikTok engagement of 14% and impressions reaching +3.3M). With fan requests pouring to buy the dragon art I shared on my account, I launched two e-commerce shops overnight on Shopify and Etsy. I print on an antique paper, so my scroll prints feel like they came from a medieval historian’s library.
In the summer of 2023 Booktok clothing, home, and accessories brand Royal Coven approached me to create officially licensed artwork for Abraxos, a wyvern character from the popular Sarah J. Maas Throne of Glass book series. Already a fan of the novels, Abraxos, and his witch rider Manon Blackbeak, I couldn’t wait to bring Abraxos to life in consumer collectables. Under the permission of Writers House LLC (the acting agent of author Sarah J. Maas), I illustrated the original character artwork in ink and colored pencil. I then worked with the agency on approvals and changes, collaborated with Royal Coven to storyboard the product line, designed all production files, and helped create the Instagram and TikTok campaign for the collection’s launch. The Throne of Glass Abraxos Wings & Wyvern collection features mugs, art prints, collectable cards, pillows, blankets, hoodies, and sweatpants.
